“All I can say is WOW! I took my boyfriend here for Father’s Day and we are still talking about the whole experience to our friends and family. We had the sticky shrimp for our appetizer and we could’ve eaten 8 plates of them! For our main course, I had the 12oz Ribeye which was plated beautifully and cooked to perfection. He had the Bourbon glazed salmon and again, beautiful plating and the sauce was phenomenal. I asked for a glass of wine to pair with my steak and it was a perfect match. For dessert we had the Crème Brûlée and the Limoncello which just melted in your mouth. Great cocktails before and after dinner and the bar area is so cool! The owners are amazing and take such pride in everything they do. We are going back this weekend for what I’m sure will be another amazing experience. Easily one of the best meals either of us have ever had.”

“The food was absolutely amazing!!! I hate to add this but the service was awful!! Wasn't business but took forever to check on us, would be sitting in a booth talking. Didn't bring more chips when we ran out and took forever to get my credit card back! I had to get up and ask for it. Again, the food was the best all the way around and for any of the other places in that area. But I am very unsure about returning and dining in. Very lucky my boyfriend left I tip because I wouldn't have.”

“We just held our daughter’s engagement party here. Such a great venue for everyone to have fun. Plenty of room for everyone to sprawl out between the covered outdoor space and the patio, kids were able to run around, some did the axe throwing and mini-golf. We had plenty of room to set up a little Photo Booth area. Debbie was incredibly easy to work with, we were able to decorate however we liked. Everyone loved the food they provided and I was able to bring in desserts. The majority of attendees were not from this area and raved how much they loved Hot Shots. We scheduled the party to end when their weekly Saturday night karaoke started….so the fun continued on until close! The price point was extremely affordable. Please do not leave this venue out when you are looking for an event space. Attentive staff checked in regularly to see if we needed anything, refreshed low food and had a little fun themselves!”

“First time to to the Wake Cafe, although I am a local. The place is bright, appealing and very clean. The wait staff pleasant and knowledgeable. I ordered the blue cheese burger, excellent! The prices are a little high, $28.00 lunch for 2 and drink selection limited. I will go back and will certainly recooommend to others.”
