Let me start by saying that I don't care too much for cabbage or most cornbread. I my out of town guess wanted soul food fried pork chops, mac and cheese and cabbage. Well we went to several other soul restaurants that I had took them to during other visits but they were closed. Found this place while driving through Petersburg, the name attracted me the taste will bring me back. Ended up ordering the shrimp and liver it was delicious! Barbara and her hospitality was the next level and I highly recommend this place and will be back.
I recently had the opportunity to eat here and was thoroughly impressed. The food came out hot, fresh, and very well seasoned, you can tell a lot of care goes into every dish. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the entire experience.
