Excellent food quality and quantity. Waitress kept the rice bowls full. Very sweet and pleasant. Quiet atmosphere and good for conversation.

This place was amazing. From the pork dumpling appetizer, the crispy spring rolls, vegetable lo mein with garlic brown sauce and chicken hot pot! My husband and I totally enjoyed the freshness and flavor of everything. The sweet lady server was on point. She was helpful and kind. We will definitely go back again.

Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian but I do enjoy the dishes. The great thing about the place is you can get most things with no meat.

Finally a sit down Chinese restaurant! Very good service. Food was great. Excellent variety of options on their menu. Portions were great. Only bad thing was it was a bit warm in the restaurant. We look forward to testing out more options from this menu. Dinner was $50 for two adults.

I just finished a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. Great service and the food is some of the best Chinese in the area. The wonton soup was delicious and the fried rice is made fresh with each meal, not just sitting in a pot on the stove. Brocolli was super fresh. Just a great meal, with friendly service. Give them a try.

I finally tried Chef Lu a year ago as they did curbside pick up during the height of the pandemic and the reviews of the food were good. I love it. I like the variety of options and always order the pancit!!! The thing I like the most is the small town feel. She recognizes me, even when I’m wearing a mask. The owner is so friendly and goes the extra mile with customer service. Even after she stopped doing curbside pick up she accommodated my request to bring my order to my car because I had my young children with me. When you order direct from their site you get free app offers when you spend a certain amount. I ordered today and the weekend deal doesn’t start till tomorrow but she recognized my name on the online order and put the free app in anyway, she said since I’m a loyal customer. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Definitely the most authentic Chinese food in the area. Got s2 fish fillet, bl7 lamb hot pot, n hd6 soup dumplings. All were good but we were most blown away by the fish. Silky soft n almost melt in your mouth. The lady host was very nice and sweet. Food came very quick.

This place is a gem to find in Virginia! The owner is so sweet and attentive. And the food is great! Moved here from NYC so finding food at that level has been hard to find, but we definitely found it at Chef Lu!I highly recommend the cumin lamb dish! Flavorful and not too spicy

The owner runs around like a headless chicken trying to make sure everyone is happy and cared for properly while she is understaffed. She even made me a special drink not listed on the menu. They have decent portions for the price, food is good, and the restrooms are very clean. The place is small so one can feel the draft from outside.

Best BBQ pork buns I've ever had. The pork soup dumplings are also very good.The building itself is always very clean and staff is always awesome

Quick service when ordering online. Very good food. Mabo Tofu is excellent, ands so is the fried rice. The pork buns and bao are homemade and delicious. Highly recommend also the bokchoi entree. The hot and sour soup isn't very spicy or sour, but has good white pepper flavor that I always love in Chinese food.
