This place was amazing. From the pork dumpling appetizer, the crispy spring rolls, vegetable lo mein with garlic brown sauce and chicken hot pot! My husband and I totally enjoyed the freshness and flavor of everything. The sweet lady server was on point. She was helpful and kind. We will definitely go back again.Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian but I do enjoy the dishes. The great thing about the place is you can get most things with no meat.

It is a great place. Reasonably priced. Sue is fantastic and always makes us feel like family. Food is fantastic with large portions. We always take something home. We always order Sesame Chicken and order Crab Rangoon for appetizers. We go here every week and always look forward to it.

Fantastic owner. Well versed and wonderful to my family when we went. Treated us like family. Will stop and spend time with "grandmother" again!

Finally a sit down Chinese restaurant! Very good service. Food was great. Excellent variety of options on their menu. Portions were great. Only bad thing was it was a bit warm in the restaurant. We look forward to testing out more options from this menu. Dinner was $50 for two adults.

I just finished a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. Great service and the food is some of the best Chinese in the area. The wonton soup was delicious and the fried rice is made fresh with each meal, not just sitting in a pot on the stove. Brocolli was super fresh. Just a great meal, with friendly service. Give them a try.

We have been meaning to stop in here for a long time...and the food was definitely worth the wait! After COVID, menu is reduced, but still, plenty to choose from. Today we had pan seared pork buns, soup dumplings and cumin lamb. We were pleased by the service (assuming the owner's spouse) and she was gracious, helpful and attentive. Menu was diminished (COVID related supply and demand), but still fantastic food. Xiao long bao - soup dumplings were Okay...not great. Granted our measure of a great dumping is Din Tai Fung's. These need a little more ginger, scallion and pork gelatin. Pan fried pork pancakes were great! Obviously home made (and not frozen), a fantastic treat! A great starter, not spicy, enjoyed by all. We had cumin lamb, which is a wonderful dish for those who might not like lamb. The cumin and other seasonings obscure the gaminess of the meat. My wife is not a lamb fan, but she enjoyed it!

I finally tried Chef Lu a year ago as they did curbside pick up during the height of the pandemic and the reviews of the food were good. I love it. I like the variety of options and always order the pancit!!! The thing I like the most is the small town feel. She recognizes me, even when I’m wearing a mask. The owner is so friendly and goes the extra mile with customer service. Even after she stopped doing curbside pick up she accommodated my request to bring my order to my car because I had my young children with me. When you order direct from their site you get free app offers when you spend a certain amount. I ordered today and the weekend deal doesn’t start till tomorrow but she recognized my name on the online order and put the free app in anyway, she said since I’m a loyal customer. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My girlfriend and I got wind of this spot from a friend of ours who lives in nearby Yorktown. It helps when you have friends who seek out mom and pop places to try out. So we joined her and a few others for a nice dinner? Verdict? Upon sitting down, we were immediately greeted by one of the servers. Very, very friendly and also served us complimentary spring rolls. Fresh and hot. Also, the restaurant is small seating wise and has takeout orders for pickup at the front door. Once everyone arrived and got settled, we ordered our meals. I picked honey shrimp with a side of fried rice. Not bad. The shrimp was cooked very well and had a crunch with every bite covered in honey sauce. The only complaint I have was the shrimp did not taste seasoned. Unless the honey covered everything, I could not tell if it had pepper or salt. Also, the fried rice tasted very heavy with soy sauce. I did think about having white rice but went with my 2nd choice. Besides those hiccups, I thought the dish was good. Overall, a nice night discovering a new place. We will be back to give it another go soon.

Definitely the most authentic Chinese food in the area. Got s2 fish fillet, bl7 lamb hot pot, n hd6 soup dumplings. All were good but we were most blown away by the fish. Silky soft n almost melt in your mouth. The lady host was very nice and sweet. Food came very quick.
