Simple menu, mostly hotdogs with various condiments, but very delicious. The fries are very good, and the diablo dog (spicy) is highly recommended. Drinks are done via can or bottles, but that allows for a pretty good variety of local micro breweries. Service is friendly and quick, but don't expect any frills.
For years, my girlfriend and I would head to the Barking Dog in Hampton to chow down on their custom-made dogs. Every time we stopped by, we left satisfied. Turns out there are other locations in the area which we already knew about. One of them is in Poquoson, which is actually a little closer to us. So we decided to stop by and check them out. I love specialty dogs and burgers. This place is a great choice for cheap eats! Food was fresh and delicious. The bartender was awesome. He made sure we always had a cold one ready to go and was very personable. Only wish we had gone there more during our week stay in the area.
