“Enjoyed the breaded spicy garlic wings. Not spicy at all but very tasty. Upgraded to the sweet potato wedges. Got charged for ranch. I think if you order wings that should be included but I guess they really need that .25 during these hard times. ? Otherwise, it's it's great place and everything I ate was delicious.“
“A stumbled upon this place while searching for fun spots in the Suffolk/Norfolk area of VA. This rooftop lounge is located in the Waterside District and has views of the Elizabeth River. The cityscape was spectacular, the cocktails delicious, as well as the pickle chips. Our server Vance was polite with that southern hospitality, kind and accommodating. We ordered food to go for dinner; the shrimp tacos were flavorful and tasty, the cheesesteak sandwich was juicy and full of meat. A nice way to start the weekend.“
“My wife and I drove an hour and 45 minutes to try The Bier Garden and we were not disappointed! Very friendly staff, attentive and quick service. The food was great! The "small" pretzel is still pretty big, the fried mushrooms were huge! We tried the rouladen (thin steak with mustard wrapped around pickle, onion & bacon), blaukraut (red cabbage), spätzle (a type of dense egg noodle), bratkartoffeln (fried potatoes and onions). My German wife was very happy and agreed that everything was delicious! Oh, and the gift shop is awesome too! Many awesome items and authentic foods. I was hoping my wife would find some things that reminded her of her childhood in Germany and she absolutely did. As an American who has never been to Germany it gives me a chance to try these things too. Just an all around cool place. I definitely recommend giving it a try!“
