The menus were in bad shape (the lamination was degraded) and they were dirty, as was the floor of the restaurant. It was very dark inside because of the black walls and floor. My friend wanted to leave but I convinced her to stay since It was an all Vegan restaurant (and I always want to support those). There were quite a few things that sounded good on the menu. I asked what the most popular thing was and was told the Lions Maine Unchick Sandwich (it comes with a side salad)....
Oh my goodness the food was awesome. I was little hesitant on how the meal (Chicken sandwich (Oyster mushroom), sweet potato fries w/ salad) was going to taste. But once my food came out it was fresh hot and hit the spot. I didn’t even wait til I got to the car. I crashed my food right there on the spot. And the customer service was phenomenal.
Warm welcome from the beginning! Kissie explained the items on the menu in detail! Food was delicious, desert looks delicious. We had the Lions mane and po boy shrimp sandwhich and BLT. We took the dessert with us. Explained the other half of the business is a sober bar (serves Non- alcoholic beers etc). That's very uplifting to us! We need more places like this!
