Had a great time on Taco Tuesday! The tacos were delicious and very reasonably priced. They had a performer singing and playing the acoustic guitar. She had been on American Idol last year and was phenomenal! The Barrel is definitely a hidden gem in Portsmouth!
My husband and I went to the Barrel 2 tonight for the first time. My husband's co-worker was playing. Lisa was our waitress and was awesome. She was friendly and attentive even though she was going back and forth pretty much by herself. Thank you Lisa for a wonderful experience. The food was good also. I had the wings and fries. The food came out quickly and was good. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. Thank you.
Stumbled (literally) into this place and I thought I'd stumbled into another century. No, I didn't have to ask someone to score me a beer (underage), but these guys on stage could have been mistaken for Buddy Holly and company and they killed it!! Called Lucky 757, these guys are the real deal and the Barrel is also the real deal! End '26 here and you'll be darn glad you did!
