“To the comments giving bad reviews: 1. Who orders sushi for delivery? It’s supposed to fresh. 2. Sushi is always ‘overpriced’ for the amount of food you get. At least this place gives you high quality ingredients. You can really taste the difference. 3. Other reviews complaining about the dining experience really don’t seems to have a developed taste. The sushi is so good that it doesn’t matter is you are just giving “one napkin”. Ask for more. The sushi is delish. The true flavor of the rice and the fish and the extra topping really come out because they don’t douse the sushi in so much sauce that all you taste is the sauce. It really is fresh food as you must sit and wait for the order to be made. You can also observe the owner making it. I was never too much of a sushi fan, but this place has won me over. “I first visited i ❤️ teriyaki the day they opened. Found them by accident that day. I have been coming back ever since. The food is excellent, large portions, and the owner john is very nice. My daughters, who are all grown up now, ask to go here when they are in town. So i recommend this establishment wholeheartedly.“

“Hands down the best restaurant in the area. We live nearby and order weekly, sometimes dining in, sometimes takeout. My husband and I often comment how consistently fresh the sushi is. Like the person managing the inventory and sales is crushing it. We used to lived in D.C. and even at our favorite places there were a handful of times when the fish wasn’t that fresh. Further, they actually have rolls on the menu that use raw fish and don’t have cream cheese, are deep fried, or include a “crunchy” aspect (seriously, look at any other sushi menus; you can’t unsee it).
We go for the food, and the pleasant staff and quick wait times are a plus.

Our only wishes: a spicy tonkotsu ramen, delivery services, and maybe a rewards program :).“

“It's the third time I've eaten here. First time was over a year ago and it was horrible.
I ate there two days ago, didn't expect much...just substance. It was surprisingly great. Sorry I didn't take any pictures of my beef and pork teriyaki, holy shite was it good.

“As authentic as it gets. Highly recommend the spicy chicken halal ramen. The broth had a great flavor and there was a generous portion of noodles. Most ramen places in the DMV play it safe with a high sodium broth and offer chili oil on the side, it was nice to have something different.“

“Food tastes amazing as always and very large amounts of food. However I’ve occasionally ordered take out from here and when it comes to take out it’s not the best experience. I pre ordered through my phone and when I arrive this has been the third time they say my order was already made and given out. I’m assuming other customers are taking more than just their order. It’s easier to just order there and wait for your food. I ordered at 6:36 pm and arrived at 7 to give them enough time. I arrived and the cashier says they’re working on my order still; okay I sit down and wait and I see tickets being cleared and called out. I go to the person expediting the food and she says “ no I made that order along time ago and her face just got shifted. I said he’ll I’ve been waiting and she had even told me to wait till my name was called out so when I approached her again that’s when she kept saying she gave it to someone else. Took her a while to tell the staff to remake my ticket. I know how annoying this must be and how dishonest customers can be and want to lie to take more food. I felt her attitude change and her staff looked a little nervous. I tried to ease her up as I didn’t mind waiting I just wanted the food. I know it’s not her fault again and customers screw businesses over by taking other customers orders. I believe for how busy it seems at this location they should have a better system in place or at least have customers have to verify their orders before just saying it’s theirs without any conformation. Again great tasting food , workers are very hard working, love this place but when it comes to take out I suggest just order in person and wait for food instead of the app.

“I order take out from here fairly often now that I've found it. I have a gluten allergy and they are very accommodating and careful with gluten free. A lot of Chinese restaurants don't offer gluten-free, so its great!! Obviously, not everything on the menus is available gluten-free, but there are multiple options. We've ordered many times in the past few months. There was only 1 time that I had a reaction, and it's probably because a gluten-free item and a non-gluten-free item got mixed up. After that experience, I have just asked them to label the gluten-free items to assure it doesn't get mixed up. They have been really good about it. One of the guys that works there, I'm not sure if he's the owner or not, but he goes above and beyond to assure the food is gluten free is safe for me. I very much appreciate him! It's a great little place with good food if you're look to order Chinese!“

“Went to a Hibachi grill buffet another day. Huge variety of food, from fresh sushi to grilled items, and the hibachi station was definitely the highlight. The flavors were good, portions unlimited, and overall it felt like a fun dining experience. Great option if you’re craving both Asian and American dishes in one place.“
