“I like Thaiing new things. Very glad I Thaied Thai This. The food was reasonably priced, large portions (it looks smaller than it is, due to deep carry-out containers), large portions of the higher-cost parts (Thai basil, cashews). The owner is great, friendly, outgoing. He's local, he grew up in Radford. He's got a great team, and he appreciates them. They let you Thai samples before deciding what to order. And yes, the owner isn't Thaiered of the puns. I went with my wife and her dad. Her dad is slow to try new things.The owner brought out a sample to "Thai" of the cashew chicken, and we all loved it. They each got a grilled shrimp bowl. My wife liked it, her dad didn't so much - and the owner brought him a full bowl of the cashew chicken, no charge - with lots of cashews. My wife got a spring roll, and she said it was best part of the meal, large, hot and fresh. I got green curry with chicken, which was both spicy and creamy, and has a lot of eggplant and Thai basil. At most places eggplant tends to be greasy and/or mushy, but this was cooked in the sauce rather than fried, so it was not greasy, and it was not overly mushy - it had similar texture to a Brussels sprout, but with a mild flavor that was mostly overshadowed by the great curry. The peppers were mild, also covered by curry, adding nutrition and mild flavor without overwhelming everything. My wife got Thai tea, which was sweet and rich, without losing the underlying tea flavor. I got strawberry bubble tea (only $4.75), and the bubbles were softer and more flavorful than most places. Be aware of two things: First, they're only open Wednesday through Saturday. Related, they tend to do a killer business the days they are open, so they may have a crowd waiting, but they are fast. And second, the menu rotates daily. They have a lot of variety, but not all at the same time. They update the website with the current options, including if something sells out. But they still have decent variety, and like I said, they'll let you try things first. If they don't have what you wanted, they'll help you find a new favorite.”

“Found this gem a while back. Went back today and the more I explore the menu the more good surprises I find. Tacos Pastor, spot on. Guacamole was fresh and not powdered like most other places. Salsa has cumin in it that makes it a step above other places. Queso was excellent and house made hot salsa was nice with the meal. Should have took pictures as presentation looked like it was in a much higher end place. Pride and effort in what they serve shows in the whole operation. We will be back so save us some of that good hot salsa.”

“I tried Homesa Restaurant for my birthday dinner and it did not disappoint! The food was fresh, a great variety to the menu and you can tell they put a lot of care and love into each meal. Also the spicy sauce was SO good!”

“Love Sal’s, and the food is always on point, but our service experience today was extremely disappointing. We asked for patio seating. There were only two other tables (both had 4 people), one group was at the end of their meal, the others halfway through theirs. We sat there with no service for 15 mins and finally had to go in and get someone. Food came quickly…I’m guessing because the waitress could tell we were ticked off. Anyway, it was at least another 15-20 mins before we were checked on again, and took another 7 mins for my drink refill. We normally tip 25%, but today it was about 9%, and that was because I didn’t want to be a total jerk. Again, very disappointed.”

“I decided to go to BT's tonight for the Prime Rib special. It was packed with trivia night and a fundraiser going on. I sat at the bar and ordered my meal immediately. I couldn't help but notice how well the bartenders and servers worked in unison. My meal arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. Cameron and Austin are top-notch. They are friendly, observant, and excellent multitaskers. I'll be back soon.”

“I was having a hard time finding good banana pudding in the area however I’ve never been disappointed with the banana pudding here. I’m a fan of fluff/whipped type banana pudding and Coco Nuts truly delivers the BEST! For $4.75 you get a pretty decent sized portion considering the quality. The customer service is also amazing. They are so nice each time I’ve gone in there.”

“I have been here several times and the kindness and care of the staff and the freshness and taste of ingredients are amazing. I've been to many chinese cuisine restaurants before and this one is my favorite with no contest. I never eat shrimp at chinese restaurants. I love it so i thought I'd try it after eating sweet and sour chicken here. The chicken was so good and the shrimp was amazing! It is better than shrimp I've eaten in Florida. I got the four seasons to try all the meats and every single one is the best I have tasted anywhere. I wish i could have stayed and eaten there, the staff made me feel like we were old friends having a visit. Radford is far for me to travel to often, but this is the only place I'll eat at when I am there.”

“We got 2 pizzas, one cheese & one pepperoni, to go for our group of 7. The pizzas are huge! We had to turn the boxes sideways to get them out of the door. Everyone really enjoyed the pizza. We had about 1/2 of a pizza left for the next day.”
