Beautiful location, friendly and welcoming staff across the board. Our waiter was newish - prior experience and returned to work here again. Engaged, knowledgeable, listened to our preferences and had spot-on recommendations. Two of us had the red curry lobster - it was terrific. My only wish is that it was closer to us - please open a location in southern Montgomery County Maryland - it would be a hit!
We came for restaurant week so had great value for an appetizer, entree, and dessert. All our selections were excellent: tuna crudo spoons, spicy salmon sushi rolls, blackened mahi mahi, sesame crusted tuna, key lime tart, and chocolate mousse bomb. Their fish is so fresh and well prepared. Cocktails are great. They also have a good kids menu and provided an activity pack with wikki stix, keeping our preschooler entertained until dinner arrived. Wonderful service.
The seafood here is always fresh-tasting and beautifully sauced and prepared. Our server was helpful, charming and attentive— but the kitchen was very slow considering the restaurant was sparsely occupied. (Maybe half the kitchen staff also was away at the beach for the Labor Day weekend.) BTW, happy hour here is very good unless all the seats are taken.
