Possibly the best lamb shwarma in the city, freshly made-to-order. Very friendly, and great service. Also is a market where you can purchase imported food, snacks, and drinks. Really good prices. Overall great find. I've been here twice now, and the service and quality has been consistent.
I stopped in because I was craving baklava. I first ordered the lamb gyro combo for lunch. It was amazing, especially the gyro meat. The fries had some seasoning on them that was really good - didn’t need any condiments with them at all. They have a pretty large selection of drinks available.

Loved loved the big eggplant sandwich, enough that I might even dream about it-the pickles were a yummy touch. I got the feeling an experienced grill cook. Mainly a small to go market w some inside booths but not being used when I was there. Baklava was huge and nicely crafted. Call ahead. Some good food coming out of Salaam!
