We had our Christmas lunch here. It was my first visit and I'll definitely return. I had fried oysters appetizers, a crab cake lunch and the mango dessert. The food was amazing! My favorite cocktail was the citrus basil smash.
Went for “Low-Tide” Happy hour at 5:45-6:30, but stayed til 7:30pm at bar top table. 3 of us. Service from Sydney was fantastic. Food was hot, high quality, and fairly quick. Service was attentive, unpretentious and warm. Modern vibes, clean restrooms, and food and service was a notch above most places in RVA. Nicely done. Will be back again.
Automatically adding a tip and saying that it’s to provide a living wage for your employees seems somewhat hypocritical. Tips that are automatically added to a bill are considered part of cost of the meal and therefore are not tax-free to the employee as defined by the IRS no tax on tip.
