“Hands down one of the best whiskey experiences so far. From the selection of whiskey to the knowledge of the bartenders Nick and Brian, this will be somewhere we keep coming back to. The food was delicious. We had the wings, cornbread, brisket and fries. The brisket can compete with bbq places that focus solely on bbq. The service of Nick and Brian show how passionately they care about whiskey and the experience of the customer. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing food and taste a huge selection of whiskey.“

“There is a saying a ruined shoe in the dessert is gold. This place is the only kosher place plus another in entire VA and West Virginia. Very friendly atmosphere. Quick serving and fair prices hope they don’t change it if in and around VA don’t miss it it’s cool with poker night , bingo night and jackpot“

“We stopped for a late dinner and were delighted. The patio features garage doors which allowed us to enjoy the beautiful fall weather. We started off with artichoke dip, which was delicious. For mains we had the Monkey and a plain burger. The burgers were well seasoned and formed fresh on site. The artichoke dip had a significant amount of artichoke and was well balanced. We finished up with a brownie sundae.

The service was great and the food came out promptly in the right order. Everyone was very friendly and happy to see us.“

“Best bar and kitchen staff in the city. It is smoking but the bar is kept immaculate due to great management and staff. Security is friendly and welcoming. The bartenders Jenna, Stephanie, Savannah, Ed, Andi, and Ashley are the best in the business. If you want a relaxed environment with a fun vibe hit up this local spot for delicious food and great entertainment. Thank me later.“

“Only fan spot where the primary staff make you feel that they’re glad you’re there. Just don’t get that elsewhere. Really annoying Eagles songs though. When it’s jumpin’, it’s an experience.“

“Only by chance, car issues, did I have a chance to visit this bar. I went in with my daughter, everyone there was laid back down to earth kinda people. Several asked if my daughter and I were ok, and while waiting for a tow, we had a few drinks, and some food....great food, delicious mixed drinks, and again the other customers and staff were kind and freaking amazing! Great place for a chill visit!“

“What a great Richmond sports bar. Their food is well above average. My favorites include the chicken quesadilla, the chicken nachos, and my absolute favorite is the buffalo chicken sandwich with ranch instead of blue cheese. They have all of the tasty fried foods (mozzarella sticks, fried ravioli, jalapeño, poppers, tots, etc.). They always have a large selection on tap with experienced bartenders (Kate)!

The bad = parking. First the city takes away much of the street parking. And then they replace the large free parking lot with a crappy feng shui park.

“Great place to hangout with friends, and meet new people. Plenty to do here, with games like corn hole, basketball and pool, as well as plenty of seating if you just want to chill. The Monday night pool tournament is competitive, but the atmosphere is always friendly. Karaoke is on Thursday and Saturday, iirc. Bar staff and security are efficient and friendly, and the food options are plentiful, and always delicious! I highly recommend City Beach.“

“Wow! This was a top 5 best experience in an airport I’ve ever had. The service is absolutely incredible provided by both Aarons- they were so friendly and attentive. The CBGB burger was soooo good and a perfect pre flight lunch. Will definitely seek this back out as we fly in and out of Richmond!“

“I spent Halloween weekend in rva for the first time . Let me tell you, Babes’ WAS THE PLACE TO BE AT! The atmosphere was awesome and music was jumping! I felt VERY comfortable and included. I ordered vodka crans all night and the beautiful southern bartender, Lily made them! I loved Babes’ and it’s going to be a stop EVERY time I come into town.“
