I got to try their food through the Tako truck at the Powhatan Village farmers Market. The fish tacos were delicious. They had a watermelon relish and I had 10 out of 10 Recommend!
I was at the Amelia Windsor Lavender Festival this past Sunday.
I went up to the taco truck and I asked about meat alternative tacos. I explained that I have Alpha-Gal (lone star tick red meat allergy) and had not had much luck with taco trucks. The gentleman, I wish I knew his name, quickly told me that he had three alternatives. A tofu which he suggested the Asian Sauce, a black bean and a portobello mushroom.
Can I just say, "OMG" to the portobello...

Boka Tako truck catered my wedding this past fall, and the experience was incredible. They were very easy to work with, fairly priced, and managed to travel all the way out to Afton VA. The tacos were FANTASTIC, and they had many options that allowed us to cater to our guests dietary restrictions. My guests are still raving about the food and service. Even better, at the end of the night they gave my husband and I several boxes of delicious tacos to take home after an exhausting...
