Can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet...ABSOLUTE BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD- and I have been to NYC area. I also used to cook at Shorebreak- yeah, if you're in VB Shorebreak may be the place to go- but HANDS DOWN-- BOTTOMS UP is the MOST EXCELLENT PIZZA! Cowabunga dudes!!!!
Bottoms Up is a must try resturant. Whenever I am in town I make it a point to visit. I generally always get some sort of pizza but have never had a bad meal here. A slice is a big as the plate and is plenty for a meal. I love the atmosphere as it sits in the city right underneath the train tracks. If you're looking for great city feel pizza place make this your spot. They also have multiple VA breweries on tap if you enjoy trying local beers!
So we have a nachos that was delicious and the chili on top was very flavorful. The pizza on the other hand was very saucy for my liking and it just tasted a lot like great Wolf Lodge Pizza. I did say something to the server not to get my money back but to let them know and he says It’s called a Richmond style so I guess I’m not a fan of the Richmond style pizza.
