As always, we had an excellent dinner at Chez Max. The food never disappoints and the service, as well. It's such a lovely ambiance there and I really appreciate the fact that it's not so loud like many restaurants are today. As a bonus, our whole table got a free round of Champagne because we were celebrating our anniversary! Lastly, for anyone that needs to avoid gluten, a majority of the food is either gluten free or can be made gluten free.
Never a disappointing experience. Excellent food and wonderful surprise that a special of soft shell crabs is available. Wine selection excellent and fair restaurant prices. Our server, Oliver, helpful and professional as always. Never a disappointing meal here. From Caesar salad/ escargot to the end well prepared and delicious. We both enjoyed Prosecco and a glass of wine. Selection wonderful.
We had an exceptional dinner, featuring filet mignon for my husband and crab cakes for me, with mashed potatoes and asparagus as sides. Then we added dessert: cheesecake and creme brulee. The food could not have been prepared more perfectly. It was soooo good. Our waiter, Roland, took very good care of us, was polite and respectful, as well as attentive.
