We had a lovely dinner with terrific service (so sorry I can't remember the waiter's name). The Vouvray was just right. The onion soup could have had a heartier broth. The flavor was good and there was LOTS of cheese, but not enough onion for me. The tuna tartare was scrumptious, well seasoned, salty capers, significant portion. The potatoes (like chips) were bland, but very crunchy. The avocado and brie salad was attractive and tasty. Crabcakes were well prepared...lots...
Great spot to check out. Fantastic food and wine selection. Great atmosphere. Small place recommend getting reservations or try grabbing a table in the bar area or sit at the bar. Bar tender super friendly
Had a wonderful dinner at Chez Max! The food was phenomenal and delicious. The service was warm and attentive. The elegant and cozy atmosphere made for a lovely evening. A true Richmond gem and a perfect spot for a special dinner. Highly recommend!
