I have been ordering from here for years. I started coming here during covid and the upstairs area was closed. While Gigi was making the tea we would strike up conversations and I became a regular. When everything finally opened up I would go up there to study. Even after I graduated I'd still go and have some great tea. The Boba tea here taste more authentic then all the other places around. I'm sad to see her go. 😢
Love Gigi tea time!! Ive been coming to Gigi Tea time since they opened in 2017 while I was a student at VCU. I came every Sunday for a taro tea with coffee jelly to get me through a full studio work day to finish projects! They got me through college and I still visit after moving away back to Massachusetts. When Im in Richmond I stop in with college friends and say hi and the owners remember us! Its always fun seeing the student ceramic work on the shelf inside the doorway too...
I started coming here when they first opened in 2017 and they've been the only place I've gotten coffee jelly as a topping with every flavor of tea.
