For all the times I’ve been here, I figured I would leave a review because goatocado is the goat! This is one of my favorite casual places in Richmond.
They have a relatively simple menu divided into bowls, wraps, Mac and cheese, and ramen. I usually get a Mediterranean bowl or California Mac and cheese bowl. You can easily add additional proteins, remove certain ingredients. I’ll often add the marinated mushrooms which are delicious.
What I love about Goatocado is how fresh the ingredients are (I think the ingredients are from their farm?), the fresh herbs especially accentuate the salad experience! And there is a good balance of various flavors and textures, with just a right amount of dressing, that makes each bite so full and flavorful. 10/10 would recommend :-)

Great food, but they need to use a different container for their chilli oil. This is the second time the bag has become soaked in oil and made a huge mess.

I love that you order on a kiosk and are able to customize your bowl or wrap. Fresh ingredients. The kombucha was fantastic!

This place is amazing. Last week, I ordered one of their bowls and took home ramen for my husband. He loved it so much that we went back this weekend. Even the kids ate the food (manic and cheese and plain ramen noodles), which almost never happens. The staff was super accommodating with our requests to adjust the order for the kiddos. We also loved the patio and ate outside while it rained, so that was cool too. Two thumbs up from us 👍👍😊

I’ve been going to goatacodo for years and always getting their normal bowls, which I love. However, this was my first experience getting a broth bowl and my life will never be the same. I got the mexican ramen bowl and it was FULL of flavor that I was not expecting. I also got chili oil on the side which was a great addition. The service was amazing and I love the atmosphere (like always). Thank you for putting so much care into the food! DELICIOUS!

Delicious ramen on a cold day was JUST RIGHT! We had both the Mexican and the Thai versions. Even with the spicy add-ins, it wasn't very spicy. Staff was really friendly and helpful. We ate outside by the fire-warmed tables, and stayed toasty!

What a gem of a place. I went recently for the second time and it was just as good as the first! The California Wrap/burrito is one of the best wraps I’ve ever had. The pricing is pretty fair for how much food you get, will be going again. I honestly wanted to gate keep this review but they deserve all the business, it’s too good not to share.
Vegetarian options: Everything is vegetarian and you have the option to add a protein
Kid-friendliness: Outdoor seating for the most part, pretty chill and open atmosphere.
Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible, no raised surfaces outside of the bump on the door.

I’ve eaten here multiple times and always love it. It’s one of my favorite places to eat in the area and always picks me up when I’m feeling low. I usually opt for the cali mac n cheese bowl with chicken, but the mexican ramen is also delicious and unique. On the pricey side but I think it’s worth it. Food comes out fast and fresh!
