I've only had Goatocado from their food truck, so it was a treat to come to their brick and mortar location. I'm a huge fan of their California Mac n Cheese bowl- everything in it is fresh, the pasta shells are huge, and the cheese is gooey delicious. But today I tried their Mexican Ramen, as it was chilly outside. And I was NOT disappointed- it was delicious! Lots of bold flavors and fresh ingredients. I ate the whole bowl! Their location is small, but awesome! A few seats inside, and those outside have gas fire tables. The ordering is done on two large touch screens, which allows you to customize everything. This was a perfect stop to round out our day of shopping!

First time eating at their food truck,wasn’t sure what to get but got the Mediterranean bowl with chicken and wow. It was absolutely amazing. Greens, alvacado and everything else you could tell was fresh. Definitely plan to stop again when ever I see them at the VA. you will not be disappointed

Everything was phenomenal until I found a fruit fly in my lime/mint drink. 🤢 The food fusion was excellent. Service folks were well versed and personable.
I would suggest just ordering water or hot drinks.

I went into Goatacodo on November 7th, 2025 to place an order for the Vietnamese bowl, and what I saw completely changed my opinion of this restaurant. While preparing my food, the employee behind the counter was not wearing any food-prep gloves and was placing the garnishes onto the bowl with bare hands while also touching keypads. This is one of the worst things a restaurant can do from a hygiene standpoint in my opinion. Customers have no idea what might be under a server’s fingernails or whether they actually washed their hands after touching payment keypads, handling cash, or interacting with other customers.
I used to really like Goatacodo for their Mexican Roman bowl, but I can’t unsee what I saw—and I honestly don’t have the desire to go back.
What made the situation even worse was the response from management. After noticing the lack of gloves, I kindly requested a refund since the food was still being prepared and I no longer felt comfortable eating it. The manager—a man who said he was in charge of the store—was extremely rude and told me, “As long as you know this is not on us, this is on you,” simply because I canceled before receiving the food. I waited a couple of days for the refund to appear, but it never did.
I hope the owner sees this review, because this wasn’t just a small mistake—this was a clear disregard for basic food sanitary standards and customer respect. Restaurants should prioritize hygiene and treat their customers professionally, not make them feel dismissed for speaking up.

Haven’t had ramen in forever (maybe never real ramen??) so I decided to try ... never in my life would I have expected to see Mexican ramen and had no idea what to expect but I am actually annoyed at how good this is because I don’t live here and cannot come back.

This place is the GOAT (ocado). My partner and I always stop here when we drive from the Carolinas back home to Maryland. I don’t care how much time it adds to the trip… this place is unreal dank. Great portions, fresh ingredients, friendly and EFFICIENT work staff. The California bowl (add double chicken and jalapeños) goes crazyyyy. Plus, the mac and cheese is so gas. 11/10 place. I want to open one in the city I currently live in. The broth is super fire too. Everything on the menu is gas.

This was our 1st time at the Go Fest and I must say after living here for years I am definitely glad we came this time. My husband being a Rasta Vegan it is sometime difficult to locate food options for him. But for me how can I say I love everything besides. Let me continue with the review. The food was amazing at the Goatocado Food Truck. We were about 1/2 mile away from the car and my food vanished in a hurry because it was that good. I have it on my list to visit their store front located in Richmond, VA and will be worth the drive.
California Mac and Cheese with chicken is absolutely blazin with amazing flavor. And thanks to the helpful staff for helping me order, these are some of the absolute best people in the area, hands down! We love and appreciate y'all immensely 🙏

I'm not vegan nor am I normally a big salad person but the Californian is hands down the best salad I've ever had. I tried them at a concert at one of their tents and was hooked. With all that said, it takes a very good salad for me to pay to have it delivered as I normally order unhealthy stuff lol. Amazing!

Friendly staff, food served extremely fast, delicious healthy generous servings (we had California and Mediterranean bowls), in a breezy outdoor inviting vibe surrounded by plants, including a fig tree and herb and tomato greenery under a pergola strung with bistro lights and rectangular fire pit features.
