Food was absolutely amazing, we got the classic bean and cheese pupusas and some revueltas. They were amazing, I’ve been in Richmond for a while now and I’ve had a hard time finding true authentic pupusas and one day I drove on main street and saw El Pope. I decided to try them out and I will definitely be coming back for more in the future.
Excellent pupusas and yuquitas. Atmosphere was very nice. Within walking distance of anywherenin The Fan. I feel the price was slightly elevated, but still worth it.
Great food, good prices. Complementary chips and salsa is a nice bonus. Ordered the 3 pupusa combo for $12, 3 taco combo, yuca fries, and we got a side of rice and beans. Everything came out fresh and hot. Definitely recommend ordering the yuca fries, it comes with a side of chipotle crema.
