Home Sweet Home is one of those Carytown spots that just has its own personality. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, the food is consistently good, and their grilled cheese and tomato soup combo is hard to beat. I always appreciated that it felt like a place where you could grab comfort food, hang out with friends, and enjoy the unique vibe of the neighborhood.

Stopped in because the sandwich menu looked amazing. Our server, Jess (I think) was excellent. Not only took care of what we needed but also anticipated what we would need. The beer was ice cold the food was good. I would definitely go back for the great college town vibes.

My only complaint is this ginger bartender. The service good…suspiciously good. The food good…suspiciously good. The tunes great…suspiciously great. There’s gotta be a catch.
