First and foremost: the staff is excellent - consistently, for years. Most of the folks have worked here for years and they seem to love their jobs. Considering where this is located and how much traffic it gets, it is very clean too.I dream of a morning when I drive up at 8:30 and get a hot, fresh biscuit with my sandwich, and the sandwich contents are also hot and fresh. It's a McDonald's. My advice with McDonald's is to stick to breakfast, because that is the stuff that is always consistently good. I used to get this regularly for breakfast while driving into VCU early in the morning and for that purpose, it's very good. Otherwise, you're not likely to enjoy all that much, to be honest.

There is a man working here who has an attitude for no reason every time we come. They always say their ice cream machine is broken, so they never offer promotional desserts like grimace shake, shamrock shake. It's disappointing. And in Carytown, you would think they would want to be great, but they're not even close. I will say there is a female manager who runs a tight ship. When she is there, there are usually no issues.
