Very good food and service, one Margarita cost 31$. The waiter was nice enough to tell me before I placed the order. I recommend this place, but skip the cocktails , way overpriced.

Blu was an excellent server and bartender. The food was fabulous. I highly recommend the pineapple bowl with lobster and shrimp. Great experience.

We really enjoyed Island Shrimp. The only disappointment was the Coconut Shrimp were rather small and a bit overdone. Everything else was great. Salads were outstanding

Brandon was the most amazing server in 20 years, he made sure our entire table received everything we needed and more. Ally the GM was amazing she came to our table and took care of us. This place is outstanding!!!

Yesterday was my 1st time visiting this restaurant and I loved my experience. It's hard to impress me when it comes to seafood; but, this place did it right. We ordered the spinach crab dip, the pineapple salsa nachos, the shrimp & grits, and the fried shrimp platter. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was prepared deliciously.

First time trying and not interested in returning. Chicken add on for the cobb salad was undercooked although salad itself was very fresh. Order placed for pineapple boat was either incorrectly ordered or fulfilled but not noticed until delivered to the table and brought to servers attention. While they did leave the lobster and shrimp boat on the table to enjoy, the lobster was overcooked and cold it mostly could not be removed from the shell like it was old or precooked and the reheated? They quickly delivered the correct chicken boat to the table however the rice was hard and cold and barely able to break apart. Ate the pineapple and chicken and left the rest. Other guests did enjoy the soup and shrimp medley.

Sat outside for brunch, beautiful view of river and RVA skyline. Server was helpful, friendly, efficient and fun. We had the avocado toast and Isco omelet. Portions were huge, food delicious-the breakfast potatoes were the best and the bacon jam on omelet was superb.

Excellent service with Brandon, delicious food and a thoughtful treat for dessert to celebrate our anniversary.

Good food and great service. They accommodated my grandson who I forgot to add when I made the reservation.

We sat outside... beautiful weather, beautiful view, great food, and top notch server! Music ( even on patio) was on the loud side, but we loved the tunes.😀

The food was good although I believe the crab dip appetizer could've been a little bigger to compliment the amount of chips they provided. The Garlic shrimp were great! However, there were only 3 pieces of Bok Choy in my dish. Kinda felt like something was missing. The flavor was there though. My girl had the salmon bowl which was good as well. The corn was wonderful! Our server was cool. Pretty laid back. Overall a great dinner.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Island Shrimp Company tonight, and it was entirely due to our fantastic waitress, Joy!

We always have a good experience at Island Shrimp. Food was good and our server, Jhett, remembered us from a previous time and is always so pleasant, helpful and attentive. Thank you Jhett for your thoughtfulness!

The food was excellent. The staff was attentive and we had a great table overlooking the water. Plus they surprised my husband with a birthday cupcake. It was very thoughtful.

My wife and I went on a late Saturday morning and were pleasantly surprised by the great deck overlooking the river and the views of the skyline of Richmond off in the distance. Service was terrific and the food was interesting and fun. We also had specialty tropical drinks. All in all, it felt like a mini tropical island vacation right in the heart of Richmond. By the time we were finishing, a thunderstorm popped up and the skyline disappeared---and the staff could not have been nicer in relocating us inside. Highly recommend for something a little different than the usual Richmond experience.
Prices were reasonable for the quality.
