We had the jerk chicken salad and the curry chicken pita (with added hot sauce) - absolutely delectable! Worth walking/driving for from out of town.“

“We were visiting friends in the area they suggested Carena's the food was authentic. I thought my mother was in the kitchen. I had oxtail, rice and peas, cabbage and fried plantain. My husband had curry goat. Everything was delicious. I will be stopping by whenever in the area again.“

“Found this place years ago and I must say I love the food. Always a fair portion. You will never leave hungry unless you did not eat. The Curry Chicken is a must try. It just melts in your mouth. The owner is awesome. When my daughter was little and I took her there for the first time she wanted chicken fingers and mac & cheese. They did have mac and cheese but he made her some. She loved the chicken fingers and the mac & cheese. I just wish I still worked in that area again but I truly miss not being there at least once a week.“

You can’t go to to many Jamaican food restaurants and get that authentic quality food but this place was on point INGL. “I had the jerk chicken and ox tail with cabbage and rice and beans. I enjoyed the food overall. The ox tail had a lot of fat left on them. The restaurant only had one table with 4 chairs, so it's not a plac3 you'd want to sit down and eat. It was also warm in there. Overall I'll come back.“
