This place is freaking delicious. This place is a gem with a friendly family making amazing sandwiches. I'll be visiting for lunch more often.

Little hefty on the price until you try and bite into it. TON of meat on the Soprano, they know how to make a real sandwich. The sesame sub roll was perfect and the hot relish was the right amount of heat. Id eat lunch here everyday if I could. I'd love to see some kind of drink, chip, half sandwich type lunch deal. Not much seating but you don't feel the need for it. Its a modern neighborhood deli type feel. Sandwiches, soups, friendly staff, great spot near VCU. They said 15 minutes, by the time i showed up 10 minutes later it was ready to go. This has crazy potential and the owners seem to have the passion for their business and strive to improve. Can't wait to try the menu

Walked in to pick up an order since my job is literally across the street and had an awesome conversation with the cashier there about emus and local produce! Food was great and the people somehow are even better! Definitely coming back again and again!

Sandwich was great (Soprano), but it’s not cheap. Strangely there’s no meal option to get a bag of chips and drink with it. There are a few chairs to eat inside, but otherwise it’s mostly a take-away place.

Best sandwiches I have ever had… and I’ve eaten a good few sandwiches! The ciabatta is fabulous and I definitely recommend getting the olive spread added to your order! An absolute must try in The Fan district!

Best sandwiches in Richmond! One thing - because of the dressings, some sandwich can get soggy. I’m going to ask for dressing on the side for pickup orders going forward.

Their Turkey Pesto on Ciabatta with banana peppers is everything and more. That ciabatta was soooo good and the salty, sweet, tangy, herby flavors in that first bite should be shared with the world so go ahead and give it a try. Be mindful that there's usually only 1 person crafting up these beauties but it's worth the wait!

My first time in the market, we usually get the fresh pasta and days when they're at the farmers market. Which are incredible by the way. This is absolutely the best meatball sub in town, give it a try.

The Soprano Rocks! My wife had the Caputo. She loved it as much as I loved the Soprano. The couple who runs Polpetti really takes pride in their food.

Sandwiches were amazing. I highly recommend!!! Ordered through door dash. They didn't ring my doorbell so they left it out on the porch for me to discover after they left.
