These are genuinely the tastiest Italian sandwiches I’ve had in Richmond. We ordered the FDNY, italian grinder, and balsamic chicken sandwiches and they were fantastic. The person checking us out at the register (Peter, I think?) was so kind and helpful!! I’m so excited to come back soon.
Visiting Richmond for the day and saw someone make a video about this place on TikTok. I got the balsamic chicken on focaccia and it was SO GOOD. Also got a Carmelita bar since they were sold out of their cannoli cake, and it was also delicious! Good Italian food is hard to find in Virginia, so I was very happy to have come across this spot. If I lived in Richmond I would for sure be a regular. Very friendly service too.

Finally tried Polpetti and don't know what took me so long. This was hands down the best Italian sub I have had in the city, maybe the best I've ever had period. Everything was top notch and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Will be back to work my way through the whole menu.
