We used Meriwether Godsey through our wedding venue, Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. The planning process, meetings, emails, etc. were seamless. Ashley was great to work with...she is fantastic. The night of, the people passing hors d'oeuvres were super friendly and the food was delicious. Unfortunately our experience was tainted by the bar staff who seemingly tried to sabotage our wedding reception from the moment it started.

I just finished the most delicious lunch!!! One of our vendors catered lunch for us through Merig. The presentation was beautiful and fancy!The food was lick your fingers delicious! We had grilled chicken that was really juice and had a basil lime sauce on the side, a spring green salad with apples, nuts & berries, wonderful artisan type bread / rolls, a tomato / basil & cheese strata and a tray of grilled veggies...OMG everything had so much flavor. The dessert was mini crème brule' tarts that were addicting! I highly recommend them!!

They made the reception at my wedding very unpleasant. We got married at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, this catering company is the only option for the reception. I informed them that I wanted the baker of my wedding to cut the cake. The of the cake was a long time family friend and that was her only request since she baked our cake as a gift. At the time I wasn't aware, but they told her that she couldn't and took the cake into the kitchen to be cut and served. I even asked my photographer to get photos of the baker with the cake. Do not hire them.
