I’ve been on multiple visits to Pepe’s over the past few years and even upon entering I appreciate their interior with a mix of dark and bright colors (especially the prayer flags). Their fusion of modern and traditional is a twist that carries over to their menu offerings and it separates them from other Mexican restaurants. I went here for lunch with my husband today and ordered the BLT Tacos (I had them with shrimp) — bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes...
So, this isn’t your normal post about how good the food or service is, and it is…rather, this is about the exceptional customer service i received on my last visit. I stopped in after work for a quick take out, and it was, ordered a combo plate with an extra two beef tacos on the side. Food came out quick and hot, but when i arrived home they forgot my two tacos. I called back to see what could be done and without hesitation the young lady offered me a refund on my entire...
I ordered a very large takeout order from them during their busiest rush of the year—Cinco de Mayo at 6:00 pm. When I got home, not only was my order exactly how I ordered it, but the food tasted amazing. This place is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the world for a reason.
