A classic spot that is a staple of downtown Richmond dining. The service is fast and efficient and the bites are delicious, fresh, and exactly what you should expect from this genre of restaurant. When in doubt, reuben and fries it out!
Perly's Jewish Delicatessen in Richmond, VA - definitely worth the stop! The food is so fresh and the atmosphere fun.
Reuben & Jewbano sandwiches (the rye bread was so good!), Borscht & Matzoh Ball soups (warm & hearty!), authentic deli pickles, and some garlic dill fries! One very full and happy family, here!

Had an excellent experience at Perlys. I tried the Reuben which was very soft and tender. The meat was full of flavor you can taste how well they prepare it. I also had the Tel Aviv Trio which was such a delightful mix of flavors. Schmearing the different taste of baba-ganoush, hummus, and labneh make such a powerful combination on any the vegetables on the platter. 10/10 experience I highly recommend, and will be back again.
