This place is very busy on the weekends, but for good reason! The biscuits are truly incredible, they’re so flaky and buttery and go perfectly as a breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, and bacon. Additionally, I had a Richmond Fog (black spiced tea with steamed milk and vanilla syrup) that was very flavorful. They were able to make my Richmond Fog decaf which was an extra treat. My wife ordered a cappuccino which she says has been her favorite in RVA so far.
Last of all, the prices were very fair, this is by far the cheapest of all the coffee shops I have visited.

we came here for a quick breakfast as friends were leaving town and i could not recommend this cute little shop enough. the food and beverages are incredibly fairly priced (was honestly shocking - like $8 for a breakfast sandwich, $4 for a cappuccino), and everything was absolutely delicious. we will 100% be back

Update: Wow. With nothing other than my review, they found my sale and refunded the two incorrect items. Bumping up the review for nice follow through. Still will check items before leaving store. People make mistakes.
TLDR: CHECK YOUR TOGO ORDERS BEFORE LEAVING THE RESTAURANT.
I paid for 2 egg and cheese bagels, one with bacon and one with ham. When I got where I needed to be, we discovered they delivered a melted cheddar bagel (no egg no bacon) and a ham and cheese bagel (no egg). The cheese only bagel went into the garbage and the ham and cheese bagel was disappointingly consumed. thankfully the third LOX bagel and coffee for my daughter was perfect, so she is more than happy.
I understand they were very busy, and they don't take phone calls during business hours - but since I am now at work I don't have the time to go take another hour to go back and get refunded for the missing items I'll just take this as a loss on my part.
A true hidden gem in Richmond. The best coffee shop food in the game right now. Unbelievable prices, don't sleep on stir crazy

A quaint but bustling coffee shop off my beaten path. I got myself a nice strong Americano and some baked goods. I had a delightful experience and would recommend

Don't sleep on the lunch. Best deal and good food. Personal favorite is the chicken salad with their pasta or potato salad, yum! Great coffee, and they are fast. Even when the line is out the door. Staff is always friendly and working hard. They only thing I wish they had was a self-serve coffee station. Just in case I need to add more cream or sugar.

Best food from a coffee shop i’ve ever had!! I have to limit my egg intake but they still have plenty of breakfast options that are fabulous. Their drinks are also always wonderful and i appreciate that they actually offer a real ceramic mug unlike other richmond shops. Not to mention how affordable it is! Blanchards and Ironclad have nothing on Stir Crazy. The staff are all phenomenal and they have all worked hard to know the names of repeat customers such as myself, which is impressive considering how common and mundane my name is! My go-to spot for a reason, and i will keep recommending them to anyone in town!

The best biscuit in Richmond. Soft in middle, crunchy on the outside, and filled with local products. Try the Dayum Good Biscuit.

They have a sandwich named The Reggie and they claim it's not named after Reggie Bracey but let's be real. 5/5 great spot

Fantastic stop between DC and Charlotte! Amazing range of options, including several vegan choices. Queer and POC-friendly! I loved the portobello steak sandwich and roasted red pepper & Gouda soup!
Vegetarian options: Several great sandwich options (both hot and cold), soup, salad, and breakfast wrap options.

This is the best cafe in RVA, hands down! The service is immaculate, the owner deeply cares about customers, the biscuits are perfection, coffee on point and their baked goods do not disappoint! It's perfect and a great casual place to come for a breakfast snack or coffee, and even lunch!
