Went to the Tavern for some burgers because my husband was craving and it was the closest place to our doctor office. Looked over the online menu and the prices looked decent. What we got was good burgers AND a $40 bill!!!! They charged us for old fries which looked and tasted like they were heated in the microwave from lunch rush and charged us extra for the burger toppings--lettuce, tomato and mayo. We were looking for a new go-to place and we sure found it. My husband has extremely high standards for food, very hard to please, but he says the New York strip sandwich is the best sandwich he’s ever had. Drinks are strong but not too strong. Portions are massive. Something for everyone on the menu. And the staff are all friendly, it’s a super chill vibe.
The food was delicious. We started with a big basket of onion rings that were really good. I had a salad. It was very large and I took most home for another meal. My son & brother had the BBQ. Our server was great.
