This restaurant is in a beautiful old building in the heart of downtown. The service is excellent. I enjoyed the bone in Duroc pork chop with whipped potatoes. The she crab soup is excellent.

If you have a couple extra bucks to spend go here!
A wonderful restaurant, filled with fantastic dining options and an incredible relaxing but yet monumental experience. From the historical decor to the finest detail of modern adaptions. The wait staff are very friendly. The food is a perfect texture and the seasonings compare very well to all their classic dishes.
The night club is also wonderful. A elegant twist on a raging night of fun. The vibe is always good and drinks are flowing. Even if there are some nights where few show up near holidays. The music is MOSTLY of electronic DJ mixes, could use a bit more variety. Definitely the most popular night club in richmond!

Had a great evening ar the Tobacco company. They are so welcoming. Wanted to treat an Aunt who had done so much for me as a kid. A small gesture I know. the people here made it a wonderful experience. She had never been here before and had a great time. I still remember the first time I ate here 40 years ago.

Food was amazing we had to go back and order dinner togo after a long day at Busch Garden. Also, the Manager Chris is amazing and very knowledgeable about whiskies. The bartenders were great as well.

Such a beautiful restaurant.
Food was great, people are friendly and we stayed for the live music which ended the night perfect.
If I could give 10 stars I would. Everything was delicious. Our server Greg was excellent with his suggestions and knowledge. 100% will be back again!

My recent trip to The Tobacco Company was very disappointing. The meal started out completely fine and initial drinks and soups/salads came quickly. After that things started falling apart, it was a battle to get basic service like more water for the table, and we were never even asked if we wanted more of our beverages after they ran dry. When the mains arrived every steak was either over or under cooked, though fortunately three of the prime ribs were close enough that the party didn't mind. As the mains arrived all four individuals who got prime rib requested the creamy horseradish sauce, and we were told that we would receive it in a minute. In reality the sauce did not come for another 20 minutes despite multiple follow up requests, at which point everyone (save for the prime rib that was sent back) was already finished eating. When the sauce finally arrived it was also raw horseradish and not the sauce which was requested. The prime ribs themselves were very tough for a slow cooked meat which was very disappointing for what is supposed to be a specialty item. Service issues continued as when we were boxing up leftovers we asked several times for a sauce cup for the au jus and never received it. The waiter did ultimately offer us two free desserts due to the issues with the steaks but really the problems with the food paled in comparison to the problems with the service. What was supposed to be a celebratory dinner ending up being a celebration that the dinner was finally over.

We are adding this restaurant as a regular to our Saturday Night Date Night routine. The food and service were exceptional and the value is very good based on the quality and atmosphere.
This is a good place to eat. Some of the side dishes were not hot and we're replaced. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant.
Everything was amazing although they gotta work on their espresso martinis 😬

We showed up around 5:30 on a Wednesday. So we decided to order some happy hour items. Appetizers were $10 each and a couple burgers and sandwiches were $15. We settled on fried green tomatoes and coconut shrimp along with a prime rib sandwich. They were all delicious and we enjoyed our time there. Highly recommend!
Phenomenal experience here! We ordered the filet mignon and chilean sea bass and everything was cooked perfectly. This was a highlight meal for us. We also ordered the old fashions and they had to be one of the best old fashions I have ever had.

I love Tobacco Company. It is always great vibes whenever I go. The portions are really good for the price. They have 3 levels. The first level is more where the band plays and it’s a dance floor as well. The music normally starts at 9p. I will definitely be a regular here.
