“I know it's weird to give a gas station 5 stars but it's hard to find a small convenient store with a decent grill like the ones I grew up on. They have all closed or at least shut down the grill. Growing up in Martinsville there were other options and I never had to go to Ridgeway for this but now that I live in NC, I stop here nearly every time I go back home. They have hotdogs (the old style with Jesse Jones type red weenies), burgers, salads and much more not to mention all the sides like fries, onion rings, and hush puppies. I've never had anything here I didn't like. Plenty of beverages to choose from but I prefer the Pepsi fountain unit. There is also a sitting area incase you decide to eat there and not in your car. The staff is always nice and accommodating. Growing up I remember getting three dogs for $.99. That's no longer the case but I still love those dogs! Stop in and give them a try the next time you're driving down 220 in Ridgeway.”

“Food was excellent. Definitely comes to the top for your expectations of the best of Bojangles. Only issue I had was I ordered a 2 piece white and an extra chicken breast and I didn't get the wing but when I took it back to counter they admitted they didn't have any wings cooked and they gave me a third chicken breast. So I had to ask but they made it right with no issues or attitudes. Def recommend”

“Really good customer service here .: I was accommodated for having to wait on cookies to bake and the protein bowl wasn’t skimpy like other subways where they don’t add enough Tuna in them .. will be returning for more tuna bowls !!!!”

“This is hands down my favorite eatery in Martinsville. The atmosphere is so inviting and peaceful, I love to have lunch here when I can. The staff is incredibly sweet and friendly, I'm always happy to see them and they always make me feel so welcome. And to those who are just fans of the delicious drinks, if you have time one day, try some food off the menu! Everything is made fresh and so flavorful and delicious. My favorite things to order are either of the rice bowls or a Korean corndog with a Taro Milk tea or a Thai tea. Can't talk enough about how much I love this place, please support this small business!!”

“My family goes to Speedy's every other week. Simple, fresh food in a small town diner. The staff seem to know everyone who walks in, and we're clearly not the only regulars. The owner always greets us with a smile. We have ordered many different items and enjoyed them all.”

This happens a lot at this popular little place at lunch rush and I’ve been stuck waiting before myself. I know how inconvenient it is when you only have a half and hour for lunch.I signaled him to come join me if he wanted and he was appreciative and thanked me for offering on the way to a table just cleared off for him. I guess the only possibly unusual thing about it was that this older gentleman was black and I look a lot like General Lee ?Truth is I could give two hoots in hell what color a person is and, if I can help, I’m going to help. The fellow thanked me again as he was on his way out and I didn’t think anything of it until I got to the cash register and the proprietor told me that “that other fellow you offered a seat to paid your bill for you.”Now, If that doesn’t make you feel good, I don’t know what.Thank you, Sir ❤️”

“What a great little brewery. We ended up here thru Harvest Host and stayed the night. Owner was awesome and inviting. Limited beer selection but all of them were good and we did try them all. Food was great and the pizza is amazing. Very friendly and helpful staff, huge deck area outside in a cool old brick building.”

“We've come here a few times - mostly breakfast until today when we had lunch. My husband really enjoyed the meatloaf (which is rare because he doesn't like most restaurants meatloaf ). “They catered my wedding The food was amazing. We ordered baked chicken and received two different flavors. We included mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, corn, rolls, and salad. They added two homemade red velvet cakes, yams, and meatballs. It was past my expectations... Everything was ready, packed securely, and hot. The cakes were outstanding. There was so much food we were able to share with our church family the next day. They stayed in communication with us and made sure I was completely happy. They went over and beyond to make sure I could include them on my big day !! I highly recommend checking them out.”

I had tamales and a torta it was great the bf had chimichangas which he said was good he also got the street corn very disappointed that it was not on the cob just corn out of the can which was not that good he also got the chorizo cheese dip it was noting but grease and water down cheese those 2 items were nasty won't order those again but everything else was great.”

“Curbside Cakery is amazing. Danielle made our wedding cake as well as some extra desserts (lemon bars and chocolate dipped rice crispy treats) . The pricing is good, and the customer service is above and beyond. We texted back and forth about the details, and Danielle even helped us look for cake toppers when we were struggling to find something we loved. When we wanted to add a personal touch/design, Danielle allowed us to send over a personal stencil that I created, and she tested it early to ensure it would work. It did and the wedding cake was perfect. Everything was delicious!Curbside Cakery is not local to me, just our wedding venue, but after this experience, I would travel to work with them again. I highly recommend Curbside.”

They are always very polite and welcome you into the door with a warm smile and it's a vibe that people search for in small towns. “I was pleasantly surprised by the experience I had at Oh Sugar yesterday. If you know anything about the Eden area then you know this building hasn't been able to keep a restaurant. But I definitely think Oh Sugar could be a game changer for this location! I ordered the smash burger with chili cheese fries and the biscoff ice cream for dessert. The burger was great - and I'm a picky burger eater. Idk if I'd exactly call it a smash burger but it was juicy and well seasoned. It may have been SLIGHTLY overcooked but overall super well done. The chili cheese fries were a bit of a miss. The fries were a little cold and soggy from the nacho cheese and watery chili. I'd probably not order them again. The biscoff icecream is everything I ever wanted in a dessert. And they have tons of different flavors you can choose from. Definitely a highlight of the meal. The staff was super nice and accommodating, we wanted for nothing. For Eden, I'll definitely be making this a regular stop when we are in town. I want to try other menu items because the menu is expansive.”
