I'm updating this to reflect the wonderful staff and food here. After 4 try's I finally got to enjoy their food. In a twist, I actually am more impressed with the soulful sides than the meat and sauce! Mac and cheese, baked beans, macaroni salad, potato salad and last but certainly not least- the butter honey corn rolls. I tried Hylton’s wood-cooking grill for the first time yesterday, and I couldn't believe how great the food was. I have already placed my order for today. It was swamped because of the restaurant being featured on “Hometown Eats,” but the 40-minute wait was worth it, and I'm an impatient person. Call ahead and pick anything on the menu, and you will not be disappointed. The only thing I wish was that I knew of this restaurant before yesterday!

GREAT food you just need to find them when they are open. Small but excellent business. Definitely get the honey biscuits & brisket. My girlfriend says it's the best brisket in seven states!
