The brisket is amazing and the ribs are the best I've ever had. They have good size portions. Good home cooking. Potato salad, macaroni and cheese and snaps are delicious. The real home made strawberry cake is the best I've had.
Delicious food, clean restaurant and restrooms, and friendly atmosphere! Owner is delightful to chat with, just a kind human being! smoker rolling in the front of the building greets you walking in.
Really good stop and we will hit it again when we come back through on our travels for sure.

Joe is the kindest and purest soul! He’s like that one uncle that everyone loves. The food is honestly some of the best food I’ve ever had. The Mac and cheese? The BEST. Homemade baked beans? Exceptional! My hubby and I had a good time eating inside as well. The atmosphere inside feels like home. We will DEFINITELY be back for more of Joe’s southern hospitality!
