While shopping in Roanoke, my girlfriend and I were looking for a place to have lunch and noticed a large number of cars outside 419 West, which we took as a good sign. We decided to give it a try. It turned out the parking lot was crowded due to a private party, but the main dining area wasn’t overly busy, aside from the outdoor seating.

We were impressed with the menu selection and found the food to be delicious. Unfortunately, the service did not match...

We love 419 west ! It is always consistently good food with a great quiet and warm atmosphere. I love any restaurant with dark wood and warm settings. This is one of our regular go to places.

Easter was just my second time at 419 west, but it confirm my the mediocre impression of my first visit. We were seated quickly, our waiter was friendly but the food was just ok. The prices are over inflated for what you get. Even for a sandwich and chips it was almost 20$. It is on the other side of town for us, so I doubt I'll be back. The brunch menu for Easter was also very limited. Maybe 4 items.
