My wife and I went there to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. It was our first time dining at Alexander's. The entire staff was impeccable. From the time we walked through the door until we finished our meal and left, they were totally professional. Very nice people, absolutely no complaints. The food was fantastic! We ordered the "Profiteroles" to go without the ice cream. When we got home to enjoy our dessert it was ONE profiterole. Ever other restaurant where I have ordered them it was 2-3 in a serving. Very disappointed.
Alexander's food is absolutely out of this world. Several of us had the halibut and it was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. A few had the filet which was tender, juicy and cooked to our perfection. 1 guest had the shrimp cajun and it was so yummy too. Our server was fabulous and in fact, all the staff always make us feel so special when we dine here. Best restaurant in Roanoke!
