We made reservations for restaurant week. We were placed in the back room with a large party and seated next to curtains that were cumbersome. Our server was okay but nothing to brag about. The food was great, however, the salmon was undercooked in the center. We will visit again and try something else for sure. The menu for restaurant week was great and at a good price. We will make reservations again next year!
Every year Billy's participates in Downtown Roanoke Restaurant Week at the end of January (which runs from Friday until the following Sunday = 10 days) and every year there's an issue with them running out of food; sometimes even on the first or second night. The best deal, and what most people go for (especially in my group), is the prime rib. They're also known for their Limoncello Cake as part of their DRRW preset menu (an appetizer/salad, entree, and dessert)....
Billy's is a favorite. Not sure why there always seems to be a bit of confusion checking in on a reservation..if there is a special request like the complicated ”please give me a window seat”... and there are plenty of window seats I still had to negotiate getting one of them! I do recommend Billy's great food, great wine, great service...but it can be a little loud.
