This was my 1st time eating at Famous Anthony's on Williamson Rd in Roanoke VA. I was craving Hamburger Steak and a baked potato. It did not disappoint. The hamburger steak was big. Added some shrooms and fried onions and was full and happy. Big ole baked potato too. Im sure they have gravy but I couldn't find it to add but that's on me. The server upfront was nice and had my food ready when I arrived. My dinner was still hot when I arrived home about 8 mins later....
I’ve been going to famous Anthony’s for thirty years, and I’ve always loved it. The staff is always great! But, since the re-opening, the food isn’t the same. Not at all what it used to be.
The food was good but the service was below average. Our server was obviously new and made numerous mistakes on our orders plus she spilled a whole tray of drinks down my daughter's back.
