I decided to stop by New Year's eve to get something in my stomach before drinking. They were full but I was offered a seat outside and took it. The food is all great here. Tonight they had a man carding at the front door. A customer came up already with a bad attitude. He didn't want to be carded and was insulted for he had been coming here for years. The gentleman minding the door whose name was Chris handled it very calmly with no attitude even though the guy calmed...

Great location downtown. Small place. A little loud, but it's a small bar, so that's to be expected. They didn't have brewed sweet tea, sadly. They also didn't have lettuce or tomato for the burgers. Still, the burgers were great. Really tasty. The fries were good, too.

We visited on a Thursday night it was jam packed - in a great way ! Great atmosphere, happy people and beers flowing. We sat at the bar close to the grill and those burgers were in demand. Loved the order notes reaching the grill by clipping them into a string and pushing the string to the grill old fashioned system that seemed to work well ! Both burgers we had were juicy specimens and hit the spot - try one if you can !
