I just think it’s very poor that you go there and order chicken livers and you go in there and get them to go and you get home and they gave you a grand total of three chicken livers. Every time we go there it gets worse and worse, the customer service is terrible.

I went here because my mother always really enjoyed cafeterias and yesterday was her birthday. She would have been 98. Anyway they really have a wide selection of food. I really enjoyed the loaded potatoes, coconut cream pie and the breaded okra as well as the fresh dinner roll. The server was great. I was able to take half of my meal home. I'm thinking about coming back for breakfast.

I wasn't feeling too well the day we went to the K&W. The food seemed a little bland, but my wife said the chicken was good! Was hoping the chocolate pie was good, but not a fan. The employees that worked there were very nice and friendly. The young lady working the floor was very nice and brought me a different dish when I wasn't happy with the lasagna. Again, I wasn't feeling so hot that evening 😫.

K&W SUCKS since they were bought out. The deep fried shrimp was always my favorite, then the deep fried fish and chicken breast. They all are terrible now! They are also insanely high on prices now! $106 for 4 people, not counting the tip and rude waitress. I've been going there since I was a little girl in the early 1980's. Myself or any of my family will never go back again. Why change things when they've worked so well all of these years? Technically decades!?? We are truly, truly disappointed 😞

The food this evening was very poor!! The good cooks must have been on vacation. The baked chicken was dry and tasteless, chicken and onions was hard and dry, I couldn't identify the country style steak. The cabbage was the only vegetable hat was decent. The mac and cheese was watery and the mashed potatoes were thick like glue. Usually I enjoy my meals at K&W, not tonight. This was my incentive to cook at home!!

I was passing through Roanoke and wanted to try a restaurant from my childhood I hadn't eaten at K&W since the late 80s and they didn't disappoint everything was just as I remembered it and the food was delicious lots of great memories
Had the 2-fer special and it was delicious. Love the staff and the food

Place was quiet, clean, quick service and friendly accomodating staff! Had the best greens and yams 😋 the chicken was pretty dry, I'll be honest but their online BOGO deal for new users made up for it! Can't beat a good home style dinner for two for $16!
