I had previously reviewed the Blue Apron as not only the best restaurant in Salem but in the entire Roanoke Valley, and it was still our go-to restaurant when we learned in early December that its final day would be December 23. A deep disappointment for many who have made this their first choice for years, but the owner says he wasn't able to get the help he needed to continue operating it. Excellent! The shrimp and grits were unlike any I have had. The flavors were complex yet simple. My husband's lamb shank was probably the best he has had. I usually don't care for lamb because I think it's gamey, this lamb was melt in your mouth with a very clean, rich flavor. We also loved the crafted cocktails. Dinner and service were so good!!! Thanks a million to Kirsten and Will for there awesome customer service. Thanks to the chef for accommodating my daughter with a steak sandwich. See you all soon ?
