Nice atmosphere, delicious homemade creative ice creams and color changing spoons!UPDATE: Nov 2023 I’m not sure what’s happened to this place, my kids and I loved it when they first opened, we remember Salem, then tangle wood opening. The one at Tanglewood closes at weird, spontaneous times and when you do catch them open, they’re out of Ice and boba and there are signs up that say “Cannot make smoothies, milk shakes or most of the boba teas” as many of times as we’ve come by and this has been the case, I’m really wondering how they stay in business.

I did not like eating at shampoo because I did not get to eat there because they said that it was open on the website and on the door but when we got there the door was locked. I am very disappointed. I’ll try again next time if there’s a next time

Today I went to Champloo and on the app it says it is open and on the door it says it's open but when we tried to open the door it was locked so they need to change their website to say if they are closed or open because I really disappointed.

I would leave 0 if I could. I've tried going multiple times because of recommendations but they're never open during their open times. Even if I call first and they're open, they'll close before I can get there. Not worth the trip just to be disappointed.

Need to change schedule. Saturday we were there at 4:30 pm it was shut down. Sign on door said open @12 close at 10:00 pm. My granddaughters very disappointed.?

Have never felt less welcome in an establishment ever. Ice cream had a flavor likened to a dirty cleaning cloth with sanitizer on it. Female employee working was very rude. This was our first and last visit. Judging from other reviews of this establishment it is a common occurrence.

I have been by twice within the past few months during what is supposed to be their open hours. Both times they have been closed, with even their door stating they were to be open. Use to be such a fun place and good atmosphere, now never open. Really disappointed.

I was looking forward to taking my family who were in town here, they had never had rolled ice cream and I suggested it. When I walked in I asked the girl if she was having a good day and she replied “Sure” and you could tell she was not happy and inconvenienced by customers being there. The entire time there was feelings of tension and annoyance. Looking at the recent reviews I think a lot of people had the same experience. It’s unfortunate my family from out of town had to experience that kind of behavior.
The girl who served me and my friends was very rude. If I could leave a 0 I would. We asked if her day was going good and she replied “sure” and when she was making our order she was slamming everything around and overall ruined the experience. If you want rolled ice cream or boba go to the Champloo in tangle wood they are much nicer and helpful.

First time having this Champloo in Salem. Was not a good experience. The employee that served us was incredibly rude. She acted as if it was a bother for us to be there. Scoffing, arms crossed, and short answers is what we got from her. Would recommend the Tanglewood one for sure. Would give this one zero stars if possible.

Me and 2 other people walk in at 8:25 hoping to get rolled ice cream. Walking in we immediately noticed how nice the place was but soon there was devastation. The girl working today (June 1st 2023) threw her phone down and told us rudely told us they only had chocolate. Even though that news was dreadful it was alright, I had a backup option, the thanos!!! The thanos is this super good boba tea that you can’t get wrong. Or at least I thought you couldn’t get wrong. The tea tasted like day old banana and not good at all. While we was looking at the menu I asked her if she was having a good day, she replied with a very rude “sure”. So I tried another conversation starter and she cut me off like that again. While making the order she threw stuff around like it was nobody’s business and that we ruined her day by wanting something after a long hard day. Experience was low for this place. Would not recommend if that woman is working

Rude employee as soon as we walked in the door. It felt incredibly unwelcoming, and if we tried to order something that was out of stock they wouldn't even let us finish speaking before loudly saying "We don't have that" and "what else?"The ice cream was good though. And maybe it was just a rough day for the employee ??♀️

This location had one employee who definently didn't want to be there, and she would have preferred that we not be there either. She caught us at the door to tell us the million things that she was out of for the day. And seemed really miserable when we weren't there for any of those things. We had some overpriced boba that was just alright. The service didn't bother me. I was more amused than anything by the experience, but if you're someone big on customer service, this might not be the place to go.
