This place is absolutely phenomenal and never disappoints. We go to my husband's childhood home at least once a year and we HAVE to stop and eat here at least once. We have also eaten here 3 time in one weekend before as wellđ€Ł. The atmosphere is really cool and the food is just incredible.

Hostess would not seat us because she claimed the kitchen was too busy to receive orders. In spite of this, the restaurant was still taking to go orders for some inexplicable reason. We asked to be seated so that we could have a soda while we waited until it was possible to order, and we were told no and given a very strange explanation that made no sense. It was a very strange and disappointing experience.

Worst service ever in my life. Screwed up my order and I sent it back to get it fixed. I watched her set it down on the back wall near bathroom where everyone was walking by it while she ran outside for something. An hour later she brought it out in a box. My husband had already finished eating. I left hungry and totally pissed. We had gone there to celebrate something. Arrived in a great mood and left seeing red. Ruined the whole night!! I wonât be back.

Food and service is either above average or great. Many menu items can be ordered that will provide take-home opportunities for a second meal. It is a great place for groups or kids as noise is not a problem. I do wish they would clean their bathrooms better so minus one star.

They were a little short handed so getting seated was a little slow because they were filling to go orders and in the middle of a shift change but they were all moving and working quickly. My honeymooner was delicious and I enjoyed the house-made chips. Annie did a great job!

A regular stop for us any time weâre in town. They have the best chicken wings of any restaurant weâve been to, and you canât go wrong with the Hindenburg special.
I visited the Salem location about 4 weeks ago and it was not a great experience. Once seated, No server⊠almost 10 minutes and when she came up she said âsorry I was in the bathroomâ. Not what I want to hear at a restaurant. My burger came out and I ate some then decided I didnât want eat all of the bun, looked for my server, not to be found. I stopped the girl that was at the register when I went in and asked her if she could get me some silverware. She walked up slammed down 2 knives, 1 iced tea spoon and a soup spoon on the table and walked away. She had to select these things as a flatware group. I wasnât drinking tea, didnât have soup and only needed 1 knife. I wanted a fork! Got my check and paid - even gave her a $5 tip on an $18 bill.
So this Saturday decided Iâd try again - wanted a burger. Walked in and dude was at the register - he asked if I was eating in . I said yes, 1 person. He said I donât know if we have tablesâŠ. Walked away and was gone 3-4 minutes. Walked back thru the lobby with his hands full of glasses and flatware - do I thought heâd be right back. Another couple walked in and asked if there was a wait. I said apparently. A girl walked out and asked if we were eating in. I replied I am., and the couple said they were. She says. I donât know who is next to be seated and walked into the kitchen. Another girl walked out and looked at us - this was the girl that brought my flatware in the previous visit- and turned around and went back into the kitchen. I looked at the couple and said - nope not waiting. And left. Had another fantastic meal and experience at Awful Arthurâs. Maybe Iâll try their burgers. Wonât give Macados a third attempt.

One star was being generous⊠if you order Togo make sure you check everything because if they forget anything you have to call corporate for your money back for the specific item. They give you a run around saying they canât find your order and then you have to wait 3 days to know if they will even give you your money backâŠ. They wont make the food for you that you paid for instead give you an around for their screw up. Never knew it was so Hard to get all items into a bagâŠ.

I ordered a Margie's Cashew Chicken Salad and requested extra dressing. I paid for the extra dressing. I received my ordered with a note on the receipt that you have to pay for extra dressing, we are not a charity and a big smile face. First of all, a customer should never be treated that way. Second of all, I paid the 75 cents for extra dressing which was the first item listed on my receipt. I called Macados to complain and all the manager did was make excuses and never apologized or offered to correct the mistake!!!!

Waited for 20 minutes for our waitress to come back and take our orders. She never did so we placed our order with the only server on the floor. When our waitress showed up, she had another tables order and said this is why I wasnât here to take your order?!?? Our food was mediocre at best. Fried chicken sandwiches are a frozen breaded patty from Sysco or US Foods. And itâs not even their high-end fried chicken patty. We also ordered a fried chicken Caesar salad, which was basic. Overall it is a restaurant aimed at college aged kids with basic tastes.
