“Smelled great as soon as we walked in, great atmosphere . Server was wonderful, many options for food, not too pricey. Flavor was great
Parking: Plenty of spots for parking , if parking spot gets filled there are many close parking lots as well.
Kid-friendliness: Great decorations kids and adults would love to see !
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to the bathroom, low tables if needed for wheelchair with plenty of room.“

“Server was awesome, after we ate lunch, she offered to put in a bag of ice with our brownies, to take with us, since we had a few stops before heading back to Lynchburg. Stay away from the fried green tomatoes though!“

“This is a limited seating, friendly restaurant serving Vietnamese food. We did enjoy the food but we waited close to an hour for everyone to finally receive their food. We were a table of four and kids were starving which made it hard for them to want to go back again.“

“We searched for a place like this for a full year after visiting a place in Topsail that we couldn't forget. No restaurants in the Roanoke area could compete or give us what we were looking for. Imagine our surprise to find Brood, only 25 minutes away from where we live. The ambiance is so soothing(unless there's a rowdy table, but it happens to everyone), the servers are friendly and kind. And the food- *chefs kiss* - is divine. Nearly everything on the menu is naturally gluten free, focusing more on potatoes than bread, and while we don't have a gluten intolerance ourselves, we find that decision unique and refreshing. You can go to any restaurant along main street and find white bread. We particularly love the Steak and frites, and the braised short ribs, but I've tried the crabcakes, shrimp&grits, and the chicken schnitzel. I recommend everything I've tried. We haven't had one bad experience, and this is our 2nd year of enjoying regular visits.
Brunch is fabulous as well- I always get the steak and egg, with a side of the grits(amazing).
Our only gripe, and it's a small one, is that there is a fragrance plug in somewhere and I'm sensitive to fragrance and it can be a little annoying. Hasn't stopped us from going though 😆“
