“My wife and I just finished our 3 night stay at the carriage house. We chose this due to its close proximity to Old Rag but due to a fall and some stitches in my wife's knee the week before going, we unfortunately had to skip the Old Rag hike. The host Jimm had plenty of great suggestions for lighter hikes and his hospitality was top tier. The carriage house was clean and cozy and Jimm's breakfasts were delicious! Sitting on the porch with some wine after a day of hiking and watching the sun set behind Old Rag was perfect. We will most definitely be back to conquer Old Rag! Thanks Jimm!“

Their George wine is one of the best reds in VA, and they also have a great selection of unique wines from around the world to try. It's the perfect place to spend an afternoon, sipping wine on the porch while taking in the mountain views.“
