I have been coming here for years. I am vegan and have always enjoyed this restaurant because of the number of vegan options. Last night, I went and tried to order my favorite dish and was told that it's not vegan (despite the fact that you can clearly order it from their website as a vegan option) and I have ordered it many times as a vegan dish. I asked the wait staff if something had changed because I'd had it many times before and he said that it's not vegan....

High Quality and interesting food. I would love to try everything on the extensive menu. Charming, “throwback “ decor, a single room with about 30 tables around a bar. Great service! Among my top restaurants in entire DMV area.

The food is complex and homey - dishes that one cannot imagine making yourself as the flavors are some complex. Be sure to make a reservation as this place is really popular. The decor is elegant and the service top-notch.
