I recently moved to the Alexandria area and I am on a mission to try all the small mom and pop restaurants in the area. This place is a total hit! The atmosphere is warm and it was very clean. Staff was friendly and bubbly. I got the Peruvian half chicken and it was very good. I was quite impressed and this place will be going into regular rotation.
El Rancho in Alexandria is officially on my regular rotation now. I stopped by for dinner and ended up walking out really impressed. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and it was a solid 5/5. The tortilla had that perfect crisp on the outside, and inside it was loaded with melty cheese and seasoned chicken that didn’t feel skimpy at all.
