If you’re expecting Texas BBQ, you will be very disappointed, but for the dmv, a very solid choice. Customer service is great and you can tell they do a great deal of customer service training for the people taking your orders.
Ordered the brisket chili, was very disappointed as I was expecting pieces of actual brisket in my chili. When it arrived, it appeared to be ground beef. I asked the weight staff and manager, and they explained that they ground up the brisket. I told them the name is misleading and they said they would suggest it. Also got the fries, they were hot but soggy. Will have to come back and give it another try
I have passed up on trying this place for about a year as the reviews/score didn’t seem the best. Maybe they have improved since then or maybe people didn’t give a fair assessment back then. My family and I definitely enjoyed the food we tried! Items tried: pulled pork, prime brisket sandwich, chicken, baked potato with brisket and chili, classic backed potato, Mac and cheese, and cornbread. The chicken was very moist.
