This is the best place in Virginia for catfish! The batter is light and crispy, the planks are large, and they are NEVER overcooked. Pair it with the homemade tartar sauce (I haven't figured out what's in it, yet), and my-oh-my what a fabulous meal!

Did not read the reviews; didn't have to. My experience here was GREAT! I ordered the catfish dinner and my-oh-my, the catfish was cooked perfectly, the accompanying sauce was OMG delicious, and I'm saddened that I never tried this place before now. I will definitely be back!

While I enjoyed the food and it came highly recommended I wasn't feeling the place. I felt like I was the worker as nice and friendly as I was to the man who I presume is Pate. I had never been before so with it being my first time I was trying to get help with choosing and understanding the menu. He was just looking at me like...soooo what you gon do? You ordering or nah?
